GEM gets a New Home and New Clients
rbrachaWe’ve been fairly quiet on our platforms after an energetic start to life as a digital marketing agency, and that’s been with good reason. Over the past few months, life at GEM has been hectic, to say the least. If you follow any of our platforms, you’ll know that we have finally moved into our brand new offices in Mexborough, South Yorkshire.
Many hours, days, weeks and indeed months have been poured into turning an amazing, yet terribly dated building into a modern, bright and fully functional digital workspace. It’s not totally finished, but we can work from it in comfort and it already feels like home.
In our new building, we have created an ambitious media space that hosts:
Open plan video & photography studio, and presentation space with private lounge bar
Podcast specialising Audio Suite
Open plan meeting space, and bright working office
Uniquely decorated executive meeting room and office
The media production spaces will be available to hire in a variety of ways, whether you need to simply hire the equipment and bring your own people, or you need us to manage and edit the recording of the footage shot. The choice is yours.
Since we moved into the building at 74 - 78 Bank Street, Mexborough (also known as GEM HQ), we have been tirelessly managing marketing campaigns for Gala Tent, the market leading retailer, as well as for its subsidiary brand, Gala Performance. We secured the contract to work with the magnificent Empress Building on its rejuvenation as the major events venue and function room in Mexborough. We were there to document the grand opening and deliver high quality promotional videos for the regular Northern Soul Nights, and again at their sell-out Elvis Legacy and Ragdolls Jersey Boy tribute nights.
Check out the great video we did for the Elvis Legacy night below.
Over the last two weeks, we have been quietly working in the background to secure more clients that will keep our small team on our toes, and we’ve managed to get several new clients on board for work of differing types.
We’ve been working alongside local small businesses to enhance their brands with visuals. Borders Microbar, just a few doors down from us on Bank Street since we moved in, have been working with our Brand & Design Manager Samantha to get some awesome new cocktail menus designed and printed up in modern, wipe clean materials.
Another great Mexborough business we’ve secured the opportunity to work with, is M.A.C. Metalcraft, who have been in business for over thirty years, delivering high quality fires, stoves and more. Samantha and Media Production Manager Bethany are working together to create a series of visual assets, in videos, brochures, and web design. We’ve got some great content created already and we can’t wait to get stuck into more.
M.A.C. Metalcraft is a successful family-owned business that supplies to trade customers in the fire, hearth and stove industry, and they’ve launched a series of stoves that comply with the most recent UK standards for air quality, by the name of Ecoflame. We’ve seen the stoves up close and personal, and they are great. You should be able to find an Ecoflame stove at all good retailers, if you’re conscious of the rising costs of energy, as well as the environment. We’re creating loads of good stuff to give this range of products a real professional boost!
Ryan and Nathan have also been busy, teaming up to work on the marketing efforts of Picture Perfect Photography, which is owned and operated by Collette Evans, alongside her brand manager Jen Hammonds. Picture Perfect is an outfit that has a strong affiliation with health and fitness products and people, bodybuilding, powerlifting, and body transformation. Collette is a British bodybuilding champion, and Jen is a keen powerlifter with a strong social media following as a plus-size model, so they have more credibility between them than most, as well as a very strong eye for strategy.
The ladies are already very adept at digital marketing, but as a small team, they wanted to outsource what they could to focus on business growth, and that’s where GEM came in. We will be writing blog content, managing email campaigns, and offering all round SEO work, and the strategy meetings we have had so far have been extremely valuable in understanding the aims and objectives of a business that’s similar to our own. We’re excited to work with Picture Perfect Photography and these two dynamic and creative entrepreneurs.
We’ll be writing and posting a lot more over the coming weeks, now that we have a bigger place that we can call home, and grow into as an ambitious new company. Now, we’ve got at least 5 amazing clients to work with, to learn from, and above all help to grow in whichever way they need.
We like to keep busy, so if you’re in the market for an easy-going yet efficient and dynamic group of professionals to help with any minute part of your marketing, then we’re the team for you. Whether you need a series of videos in a professional environment or you just need somebody to manage your email campaigns to save you time, GEM is a flexible, great-value option. Call 01709 911663 to chat with any of the team, and if you need an extra pair of hands to ease the burden for your small business, we might just be able to help.
